Signs United is an international community of vintage sign hunters, enthusiasts and preservationists.
Our beginning
The neon sign community is nothing new, but we felt as a group we could only do more in numbers. We created Signs United to foster a group of artists, enthusiasts and preservationists to not only spread the word about how beautiful these unique and historical pieces of art are, but also spread the word that we’re losing them at a rapid pace. By bringing more along for the ride, and creating a singular hub for all things related neon, we could be that missing link towards saving many more signs over the years to come.
Our mission
We are an all-inclusive group of vintage sign devotees that welcome any photographers, artists and preservationists with the same sign-loving interests. Our goals are simple: Nurture friendship, support each other’s vintage sign interests and related projects, build awareness of vintage signs that are in danger of destruction (preservation), and, of course, get together for day and road trips to take vintage sign photos!!!

Do you have a beautiful vintage sign near you that you love? Would you like to see it remain for many more years to come? We can help. We have a wide range of members, from historians, fabricators, conservationists that can take action. Or, if you would like to take action yourself, you can download our preservation flyer, print it out, and give it to the business owner so they know what steps they can take to keep their sign up and in working order.
